With a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in the commercial real estate industry, Lee has amassed a wealth of hands-on experience across various facets of the business. His journey encompasses expertise in sales, leasing, investment strategies, property management, and ownership. In 1997, Lee took a monumental step in his career by founding a commercial real estate brokerage firm that has since evolved into the esteemed NAI Long Island. Leveraging his exceptional depth of industry knowledge and complementing it with his innate leadership style, Lee charted a course of growth for the company that has proven to be highly successful.

Currently serving as the Managing Principal of NAI Long Island, Lee is actively engaged on a daily basis in diverse aspects of the business. From business development to coaching, transaction management, recruiting, operations, and long-term visioning, he plays a pivotal role in steering the firm towards continued success. Under Lee’s astute leadership and management, NAI Long Island has emerged as one of the premier Long Island-based full-service commercial real estate firms. The firm boasts an impressive track record, having completed transactions exceeding $1 billion in value and managing a portfolio encompassing more than 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate.

Beyond his accomplishments within the corporate realm, Lee has also dedicated his time and expertise to public service. Serving two terms as a Trustee of the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, he played a vital role in shaping the community. Additionally, he held the esteemed position of Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, demonstrating his commitment to ensuring responsible and effective urban planning.

Lee’s commitment to education is evident in his role as an Adjunct Professor at Stony Brook University’s College of Business. From 2010 to 2016, he shared his wealth of knowledge and practical insights by teaching an MBA-level course in commercial real estate fundamentals. Using a case study approach, Lee covered topics ranging from user decision-making to investment analysis, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the industry.
